What is the Value in a Business?
I’ve been considering what is the value in a business recently. I realised for me the value is my customers, not in a simplistic way but in true gratitude. I’m grateful that you choose me to provide your training and that you’re willing to rely on me. So I wanted to use my blog this week to say a huge ‘Thank You’ to you too.
How to do CPR
I was recently asked “how do you do CPR?” because they had met someone on holiday who had successfully resuscitated their husband. It’s a great skill to learn and there are different ways to learn depending on the time you have available.

Signs and Symptoms of Shock
When I’m teaching I always talk about using the ABCDE approach. The aim of this technique is to identify someone who is unwell and needs emergency assistance. What we are looking for is to identify the signs and symptoms of shock and treat the casualty to the best of our ability whilst waiting for our emergency help to arrive.
Children should learn how to do CPR
The Resuscitation Council recommended in the guidelines published in October 2015 that all schoolchildren should learn CPR. This is no longer an aspiration, there is clear evidence that in countries where children are taught to do CPR that there is a positive and sustained improvement in survival rates.
