The Dentistry Show 2015
I am happy to announce that I will be at the Dentistry show on the 17th April to present 2 sessions on ‘Medial Emergencies in the Dental Practice’. My talks will be in the CPD theatre if you’re there please come and say hello.
This will be my first time at the show so if you have any advice please comment below. I’m hoping to make it a great networking event and be able to share some of my expertise in the CPD sessions. I love sharing knowledge and empowering people to feel they can cope in an emergency situation. I blog regularly as a way to share my knowledge, obviously nothing can replace hands-on training, but I’m a fan of using other forms of education in between your annual updates as a way to keep up to date.
The content of the sessions will be based on the content of my Medical Emergencies course. Some of the information will be condensed as each session is 45 minutes. I plan to discuss using the ABCDE approach to assessing a critically ill person, the recognition and management of common medical emergencies and using the emergency drugs commonly kept in primary dental care.
