Restart a Heart Day 2016

The 16th October 2016 is the offical date for the Restart a Heart Day 2016.  The 18th October will see most of the activity.  The focus this year is on teaching as many children as possible to be able to do CPR.  The Resuscitation Council, British Red Cross, Yorkshire Ambulance Service and St John’s Ambulance have teamed up.  They want to attempt to break the record for the most number of children taught.

Passionate about teaching CPR to children

Other independent trainers like myself are also looking to be involved.  You’ll see from previous blogs that I’m passionate about teaching children how to do CPR.  Therefore, if you’re a school in Buxton, Derbyshire and would like me to come to your school and teach some of your students please let me know.

In nations where children are taught CPR this has a positive affect on the numbers people receiving bystander CPR.  This then has a huge impact on overall survival rates.

In 1 1/2 hours children can be taught CPR and some other basic first aid and I’m happy to do more than one session in a day.

Please contact me if you would like your school to be involved.
